I know this post is a little late in the game, but my blog just started so I hope you guys can forgive me! I have been loving quite a few things this last month. Let's get this blog post started already, shall we?
BEAUTY
I went a little crazy on one type of product and one particular brand this past month in the realm of beauty. In other words, nail polish and Burt's Bees have been my obsessions.
These are four of the nail polishes I have been using throughout June. I have never been an avid nail polisher user, mostly because my patience is little to none, but I certainly have contradicted that in June.
Those two beautiful colors up there are called "bikini so teeny" and "mojito madness" by the brand essie. Both these colors were absolutely lovely. "Bikini so teeny" is a charming, pale blue that could easily be worn with any spring or summer outfit, and "mojito madness" is a gorgeous, muted green color, however, I did find it more difficult to match it with my clothing (that doesn't take away from its phenomenal color though!!). I found that these polishes did not chip or break easily/quickly which definitely increased my liking for them.
These two polishes are by the brand Fresh Paint and are called "Guava" and "'Passion Fruit." I received these on Christmas this year and totally forgot about them until recently, and I'm glad I did. Out of the two, I prefer "Passion Fruit," the light purple/lavender color. You would not believe the amount of compliments I received and the number of people who asked me where I bought the nail polish (I think they were purchased at Five Below). I love to wear "Passion Fruit" on my toes and "Guava" on my fingers. Just like the two essie nail polishes, these have a long staying period, and you would find them staying on your nails for a good amount of time.
Burt's Bees has to be my all-time favorite brand for chapstick. When I use them, my feel soft, moisturized, and healthy. They also have really great..flavors?..scents? haha we will go with flavors.
I was recently at my local Target and CVS and saw these three flavors that I had never seen before (even though only two seemed to be new), so I picked them up. The three "flavors" I got were Blueberry & Dark Chocolate (top), Coconut & Pear (middle), and Eucalyptus & Menthol (bottom). First off, Blueberry & Dark Chocolates actually tastes just like the name and it is strange but pleasant. Coconut & Pear is my favorite out of the three and might be my new favorite chapstick. It is so creamy and leaves the lips feeling hydrated; it also smells fantastic. Eucalyptus & Menthol leaves a nice cooling feeling on your lips and is great, I think, after a day in the sun.
This lotion is literally the best lotion I have ever used. Ever. It smooths on nicely and has really amazing coverage. The most important thing should be that this lotion is extremely moisturizing (which it is), but the main reason why I LOVE this lotion is because of the smell. It says Milk & Honey but it smells like Honey Bunches of Oats (a cereal) with milk in it. I would eat the lotion if I could, but I don't think it is edible and I would rather eat real food.
FASHION

Being that it is summer and the sun is out and shining, I have been rocking my favorite pair of sunglasses for a good portion of the month. The beautiful coral color of the frames paired with the gold-ringed detailing on the arms of the glasses is a gorgeous combination. I love the round shape of the frames with a slight cat-eye detail on the corners. Also, they do their job keeping the sun out of my eyes! (I couldn't find a link for these sorry!!)
These sparkling studs are not anything too fancy, more of a great staple for me. They are an easy accessory for those days when you want to look a little dolled up but are feeling that summertime laziness. The way they shimmer in the sunlight is glamorous and makes me want to wear them again and again. You can find them here.
Music/Literature
Music is a big part of my life because it helps get rid of my stress and makes me happy. Not all the music I listen to is new. Not all the music I listen to is old. What I listen to can be from any genre, any decade, mainstream or not, etc, etc. I just love the way music flows and if you don't like the songs I have chosen, leave your favorites in the comments below :)!

How to love by Katie Cotugno
Rosie and Skate by Beth Ann Bauman
They are not difficult reads and both have cute love stories if you're in the mood for a romance novel. I would recommend Rosie and Skate specifically for young adults.
I know this post was excruciatingly long, but I will try to cut it down next time if you guys think it was too much.
